Hello cupidsnails!
I’m excited to write to you all with another monthly update. But first, I want to extend my apologies for missing last month’s. Last I wrote to you, I was in Philadelphia for the world premiere of Obvious Agency’s Space Opera (which led to a jam-packed end of June), but now, I write to you on the other side of that process! To share a brief reflection, bringing Space Opera to fruition was an absolute delight and a deeply impactful learning experience. Very grateful for my time with that team. And I highly recommend checking out the latest from Obvious Agency should you ever be in Philadelphia!!
Below are some production photos, to share in celebration of a successful premiere. :D (Photo credits to Ashley Smith of Wide Eyed Studios. Full production credits here.)
Space Opera!!
That’s the theatre update. On the writing side of things, you can expect the long-awaited KATSEYE case study in your inboxes before the end of the month. I’m pleased with how that essay is coming along. And on the music side of things, I’m excited to share another demo!
I’ve finally finished my first pass at a MuseScore demo for “Daydream,” the last track on the EP. This song had me stumped for a moment, until I realized I had to learn more about arranging drums in order to complete it. So working through this demo became a fun practice in composing with drumsets! Praise Practice.
