Hello hello hello cupidsnails! What a time to be alive, amirite????

March has ended, which means another update to share with y’all. On the essay side of things, I’ve got two in the works. The first one continues my discussion of Information stardom by offering a case study of this stardom type via KATSEYE (iykyk hehe). For any fellow EYEKONS, I recommend this video for a veeeery thorough deep dive into the history of this ‘global girl group’ thus far. Hoping to release this one next month.

The second (less-developed) essay is a tangent on forgetting and remembering. Studious cupidsnails may remember a two-part series in which I unpack the fundamental relationship between memory and stardom. There’s so much to learn, think, and write about when it comes to this relationship, and a very generative book that I’ve finished recently is Lewis Hyde’s A Primer for Forgetting (highly recommend!!!, though check out the content warnings prior if you do read). I finished this right as the second season of Severance wrapped up (which I would also recommend!), and both of these pieces of media have really got the gears turning. Not sure when this essay will be done, but thought I’d tease it here hehehe.

On the music side of things, I’ve got two fleshed out MuseScore demos to share.
